Consecutive Interpreting

Consecutive interpreting is the mode of interpreting that allows interpreters to take notes on the speech while the speaker is speaking and deliver the translated speech, as if giving the speech themselves, to the audience in a clear, natural, precise and intact manner after the speech is over or the speaker pauses for the interpreting. Because the speaker may talk without interruption for five or even ten minutes, the interpreters must present the translated segments of the speech in a precise manner with all content intact.
